NOTE: There are 3 concurrent Interdependence Days events in 2023; one entirely virtual and two in-person events in Maryland and Oregon. Be sure to register for the correct location! 

Stone Circle Wicca (USA) Interdependence Day 2023

June 30 - July 2, 2023 at Stone Song Center, Flintstone, MD

A three-day camping event to promote resilience, optimism, and a sense of mutual solidarity and support across the nation. 

Interdependence: A Celebration of Interconnection across the Nation Come and join us as we celebrate our connections to each other and build community through ritual and magic. We strengthen our history, work together interdependently to be here now and build a world.

No one turned away for lack of funds: If you need sunshine funds in order to attend this event, please register like normal, select "invoice me" when you get to the payment screen, and then send a short email to stonecirclewiccainfo@gmail.com indicating your need for sunshine funds. 

Vaccination Policy: Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is a requirement to attend this event. Fully vaccinated means at least two weeks since dose #2 of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or two weeks since a dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. People whose physicians have documented that they are medically ineligible for the vaccine may still attend.

In case of illness: If you have a fever, cough, vomiting, or shortness of breath, please do not attend. If you have to cancel due to illness, contact us for a refund of your registration.

FRIDAY SCHEDULE + DESCRIPTIONS (All Chesapeake Bay Watershed times listed are Eastern Time)

2:30pm Registration Opens

5pm - Welcome Moonrise: As the Moon rises, we welcome each other to the Interdependence Days celebration.

6PM: Dinner with community

7PM: Heart Circle: A time for authenticity, active listening, and shared space.

8PM ET: Opening Ritual Intro the Three Blessings: In circle cast, we collectively evoke the three blessings of Interdependence Day: resilience, solidarity, and optimism.

9PM Stargazing: Clear skies permitting, we turn our eyes to the starry heavens

10PM - Bardic Circle: We share readings, chants, and songs about solidarity.

2AM - Moonset: For those still awake, we offer a prayer to the setting Moon.

SATURDAY SCHEDULE + DESCRIPTIONS

6 AM: Coffee & Sunrise - At dawn, a prayer to the blessed Sun. Join us for Java whenever you rise and shine!

8 AM: Breakfast with community

9 AM: Trilithon - Community Blessing I–Resilience! The first of our three community blessings, a ceremonial honoring of resilience, held at the sacred Standing Stone of the trilithon.

10:30 AM: Shareshop - Crafting Ritual Items: Explore the Crafty Side of the Craft! Make your own talismans choosing between ancestor plates (with Fern), wire-wrapped trees and moons (with Tonina), spun yarn (with Elian), or altar shrines (with Eldritch).

12:00 Lunch with community

1:30 PM Workshop - The Strengths Cards: A structured experience of recognizing and honoring the individual strengths of one another (led by Jonathan).

3:00 PM: Workshop - Learning (and Re-learning) Essential SCW Chants: Let your voice ring out in our favorite songs! (led by Elby, aka Lady Bardic)

6PM: Dinner & Moonrise with community

7PM: Coast to Coast Ritual: We will offer SCW friends across the nation a shared experience of Interdependence, exchanging sacred readings, chants, and songs.

8PM: Main Ceremony

Community Blessing II–Solidarity! The second of our three community blessings, a ritual to body forth and experience solidarity.

10PM Homo Hospitality: Share kindness and potions. An inclusive, welcoming party in the traditional Radical Faerie style.

9 AM: Workshop -  Framework for Oracular Divination: Build your divination skills with an introduction to principles of divination followed by a chance to deepen in Tarot, Runes, or the Bones (with Jason, Eldritch, & Jonathan).

10:30 AM: Community Blessing III–Optimism! Our final community blessing ceremony will be a work of divination for each of us individually, for Stone Circle Wicca as a community, and for the Nation.

12:00 Lunch with community 

1:00 PM Closing Ritual: We will offer thanks to each other and to the spiritual presences that embraced us, and send the energy of Interdependence Days out with us into the wider world.
