Meeting once each moon for a year and a day (13 moons), the class is designed to introduce students to the core ethical, cosmological, liturgical, and theological teachings of the Stone Circle Tradition of Wicca, and to train each student to design and lead public ceremony. The class focuses on religion, ritual, and magic, using 13 blessed tools, each of which corresponds to a body of knowledge.
There is extensive homework in the class, both written and experiential, as part of the course’s hands-on approach. There are also two public rituals that students will be called upon to write and lead for a larger community. NOTE: Students must commit to attend ALL sessions with up to 3 make up sessions only (with prior notice or actual emergency).
Students who wish to do so will be able to dedicate to pursue initiation to the First Degree in the Stone Circle Tradition. Students who are not interested in initiation may remain as active participants and continue the class to develop their own knowledge.
